OPENING OF WALKING TRACK POSTPONED

As a mark of respect on the sudden passing of Ita Duffy (nee Finnegan), a much-loved member of Drumhowan GAA & Community Group, the opening of the new walking track has been postponed until a later date. The mass for the deceased members went ahead on Sunday last.

FORMER TOWNS WOMAN PASSES IN HER 90TH YEAR

Kathleen Rowan (nee Kealaghan), Booterstown, County Dublin and formerly of Ballybay passed away on Wednesday 29th June, in her 90th year. Kathleen is survived by her ten children and fourteen grandchildren. Kathleens funeral mass took place on Thursday July 2 and she was buried in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Little Bray afterwards.
